How To Trade Wrestling Singlets

Bagnolet to Montreuil by Martine

Martine, Paris 11th

The northern suburbs are for me what the theaters: Saint Denis, Bobigny Pantin, Bagnolet Montreuil. My favorite: The Commune in Aubervilliers: bus awaits you at the subway exit, it evokes release of schoolkids travel.
I never go in the suburbs for the day while trying to have a different vision, a vision at all, I get up early during my walks.

"Exchanger Bagnolet" I expected to find a swarm of people, a multitude of crosses, the hum of engines, horns ... Everything is calm and I see almost no one.
I go back to the center. Street Camellias: two cylindrical towers stand in the sky, a white house appears from the night and a great father to walk on its front, my first Bagnolet! I take my time, I would like to see the emotion in this picture I had in the second when I arrived. At the end of this first meeting I will greet the patient great father who, after giving me a kiss, trying to kiss on the mouth, everyone is looking decidedly emotional morning!

The sun rises quickly, I meet a young woman who risks nothing dainty in his lamp: she caressed by the night waiting for the day ...

I go back to the metro Gallieni.
This place is incredible, while heights, curves and perspectives. I watch the sun rise in Bagnolet. Although this picture is definitely urban reflects the softness and calmness of this place at this time morning.
When I come back the next morning I decide to attack me Reprimands.
mission that Julia gave me was simple: Try to go up as high as possible to get a panoramic view of Paris and its northern suburbs, but after running for an hour, I have not accessed entry.

I learn that the town of Bagnolet includes 6 districts. I would need much more time to differentiate the two blocks but already I feel differences have traveled for miles.
Later I discovered the third quarter, more residential, more charming!

back toward the center, near the town hall, I take some pictures of a tagged street corner, a curious and worried Bagnolet challenges me he thinks I work for the mayor and think they want to "freshen up" the facade, once reassured he escorts me through the neighborhood to show me his favorite tags.

Back to the subway and plunged into the bus station, underground, almost invisible. It a sort of no man's land. The people there do not seem to really expect. At a time when the buses and subways are full, this place is quiet, timeless city. The cafeteria is a sequence of machines, no desk, a few round tables and high, white tile, I come out quickly in the open air.

Old and new come together permanently in this city. I look at an old building and it springs from the roof top of a building of glass glittering in the sun, I walk in a park and two cylindrical towers arise from a buckeye. I look at the library, face, I see a cold, modern building and around it when I have a happy surprise.
I will not leave this town without mentioning the pride of the school year: The Guenot brothers, Steve and Christopher medal in Beijing this summer! Displays a huge fleet on the facade of City Hall and are found on some windows of downtown.

I do not really feel disoriented. I live in eastern Paris and the contrasts are equally strong. Bagnolet seems fairly sheltered, privileged, many people also continue to call " The Village Bagnolet.
This last picture shows quite well the feeling that I have left: a suburban-sized!

Oblivion Undress Npc Witouht Killing Them

view Nambona

Nambona, Paris 19th

I live Rue Petit in the nineteenth district, after lived Quai de la Marne. For six years I'm in Paris, I saw my neighborhood changing landscape and population, becoming cleaner and more bourgeois.
Living near the Buttes-Chaumont and the Canal de l'Ourcq is already a breath of fresh air in Paris, but it is not enough: I must escape me in the suburbs from time to time for I walk.
Montreuil little I knew, I always went for specific things: shopping, seeing friends, especially when I lived in Saint-Mande. I also wanted to live there at some point but as I did not know this city, I gave up pretty quickly. The photographic exercise was not easy for someone who has not acquired the habit of using his camera, even on vacation. But after a few days, naturally I had on hand and I thought only my surroundings.
My ride has begun on Sept. 16 at Cross Chavaux in the small rue Gallieni, sunny and airy. That's what I like in the suburbs, space, air and greenery. A circus was his promo on the street ... The circus makes me immediately think of 93, in Saint-Denis Fratellini with the Academy ... The epicenter of my walk was to be the photo Paris Street, shopping, lively and popular. I could not help but get away from it because I wanted to see another Montreuil, who looks less like other streets in the north-east of Paris (Rue du Faubourg du Temple, Boulevard de la Chapelle to Barbès ) ... I can not help but compare it to Paris!
I continued to Chavaux Cross Street Bobillot with box accordion and Girard Street and its buildings of 2 or 3 floors. During the week I made round trips Street Paris and around Montreuil to capture the atmosphere, changing from one street to another.

Montreuil What I like is that this link is kept between the past and the future of brownfields located in the heart of Montreuil New Theatre, the Conservatory Flea Porte de Montreuil, walls at the brewery Boudouche fisheries. Before, for me, Montreuil, was another Parisian arrondissement. Through several meetings, I discovered this aspect Ile de Montreuil: This is not an extension of Paris is a city full where you work, you live, you have fun, we played sports, it is grown. Now I know that I will go more often to Montreuil!

Soap Despenser Superhuman

Pantin view by Florence

Florence, Paris 1st

I am very familiar with the northern suburbs of Paris because I lived all my childhood in Tremblay-en-France. I was enrolled in high school and I also Villepinte lived for two years in the barracks of the fort of Saint Denis Briche! Yet I feel Parisian at heart. I'm really in love with Paris, I feel I'm at home and walk its streets and down, I always find. And Paris is Art, History, Day is really an adventure without end.

At the thought of going Pantin discover that I do not know, several jostling feelings in me, between fear and curiosity. It was like a farewell trip to an unfamiliar country that has not chosen the destination itself ...

I am arriving by train at the Gare de Pantin and I went down to the canal, guided by fumes escaping from the laundry Elis, rue du Général Compans. There I came across the laundresses who took their lunch sitting on the curb. I asked if I could take pictures. They were happy if a little surprised at my request and wanted to restyle first ...

Check the canal, I discovered that the mills are in full Pantin rehabilitation, with a host of workmen in hard hats, cranes, trucks, a whole world that I loved photographing worker ...

After I continued to walk along the canal to the Town Hall. And then I left the canal to bury myself in a little town to its market and its old church ...
This "journey" in Pantin allowed me to meet a Viking in bar, the workers smiling beneath their helmets, coquettish laundresses ... I've been pleased to meet with each other and I'm glad I could put in pictures what Pantin today: part of the city is still under construction and I'm sure in a few months, her face has changed again.
I had a great experience, a lesson in life somehow. With the camera, I had a good excuse to go to the people, exchange a few words or a smile. We also discover the city from a different perspective, I would say it looks finally.

How Do U Write The Mcdonalds Theme Tune

Rue du Faubourg Saint-Denis Bobigny seen by Adeline

Adeline Eaubonne

Eaubonne I live in the Val d'Oise, a neighborhood rather monotonous that might be called "dormitory residence. Indeed, we feel that people living here to rest from the bustle of Paris. The landscape is quite gray, with a few laps Tower C where I live. From my room, I have a view on the Mall Eaubonne ... But I also see Paris and the famous rotary beacon of the Eiffel Tower when it starts to get dark. The only thing that connects me to this city is my family and some friends who live nearby. Somehow, one could say that I did not choose this town, she chose me. Besides the anecdote, my parents decided to live in this town on a whim: eyes closed, they have pointed the finger at random on the map of Ile de France. That's how they met in Eaubonne ...
Trying to escape the fate of Eaubonne, I regularly go to Paris in the 18th: Montmartre, Barbes, Chateau Rouge. I like to stroll the streets this district very mixed. I am also often between Beaubourg and Chatelet to shop for jewelry, secondhand clothes and go to the Public Information Library (BPI) to work my way. I also like going to St Michel for his art cinemas and test its fountain to the mile and an appointment and its famous Greek. As soon as warm weather arrives, we often find ourselves with friends at Parc de La Villette. The area around the metro Quai de la Rapee is also a place that appeals to me. On the Waterfront, the atmosphere is friendly: the eternal petanque players give back a little next summer in Paris. Metro Quai de la Grated, it is an extension of vacation ...
Good! I think everyone will understand that the vast difference between Eaubonne and Paris, summed up in one word: Life. Paris is also for me the Mecca of culture, eclectic, and always unexpected meetings.
For my 'mission' photo, I had to go rue du Faubourg Saint Denis ... So I came to Strasbourg St Denis station and the subway exit, the adventure began ... The first day I did not really take pictures, I would rather try to become part of this world a hundred miles an hour and a thousand odors.
Going to Passage Brady I walked into a grocery store and Indian clothing where I met Thomas Baas and I spoke with had a drink in the neighborhood talking. In the photo I made of him in the grocery store, thinking maybe ruin my part, it grows, embarrassed. I keep this picture as a little tribute to my first encounter with an inhabitant of the 10th.
I love this neighborhood for its ceaseless movement and its popular side. But I still have to confess something: I got arrested in my photographic impulses more than once. It was like a 400-meter hurdles: with several hurdles that fall, legs sometimes struggle to regain ground. This refusal to let people take pictures sometimes questioned the possibility for me to make humanistic photography in the 21st century! Was it even possible (without contention) to continue in the tradition of Doisneau, Ronis Boubat?
Fortunately beautiful encounters I have been given ... Leonard's Bar PMU "A city Esbly, the two Indian guys underneath the arch and the staff of" The Little Quinquin "with a boss Kabyle gold that has kept the name chti coffee and cooking delicious couscous!

Before participating in " Diverse City ", I thought the picture was simple and easy. There I discovered the art of patience, aesthetics and "luck".
Watch the city through a viewfinder, the street, people, colors, everything speaks to us and it feels good. You see the city differently, we take the time to explore, to savor, it is no longer a mere bystander who runs fast to the next station. This project is like a day of hope and a remedy against the routine: maybe the people of the 10th, Pantin, Drancy and other parts of the bitumen will realize that the streets where they spend each day and the people they cross paths, deserve more attention. Life, city meetings and the smiles are catching on every street corner!

Creative Extigy With Windows 7

view

Ludovic Paris 20ème

I live in Paris, in a very popular Menilmontant. I was not born in Paris, there came only 25 years after "long" dreamed of becoming Paris. Finally, I found myself at the center of the world's most beautiful city in the world. And very quickly, I developed this quality that is very provincial Parisian snobbery. Ever I did in some neighborhoods, deemed too this or too that, and never, never especially, I spent the peripheral boundary defined in the suburbs, those who were put year ban and that "deserved" not my quality, the privilege of being Paris.
Then time passed, the insecurity has come, the people in my neighborhood I am more and more identified. I remain since and hopeless of Menilmontant. I freely admit that I became a little homebody. Of course, I regularly "in Paris," but more out of obligation to my work, because out of the neighborhood, go elsewhere, in another city rather than in the city. The differences can be felt elsewhere, do not enrich forever. That's what surprises me most, I think, the feeling of not inhabit the same city, crossing Montorgueil Saint Germain or even Francois Mitterand. Walk to the Trocadero, across the Place Victor Hugo, leaving Broadcasting House, visit the Quai Branly, then find Ménilmontant must be convinced that we share the same city.
I realize now that I have a real sense of my neighborhood, although I sometimes prefer to have him a little more of my own. "You're from where? - De Menil '! - Ah .... . And everything is said. In the Province, I say rather that I am in Paris, the accuracy of Menilmontant may come after, if it interests who want to know. As for abroad, I'm just saying I'm from Paris, and this is a dream.
But on the other side of the device, I always wanted to know anything ...

Then came Julia Shoemaker. Me, I had my camera with parading semi-pro, more stones, and Julia has appointed a f4.5-5.6/28-105 mm, saying "I wish you use the optical one. - But it's the most rotten!?! - Perhaps, but one that offers greater range! "Really, this girl had decided to broaden my horizon.
example in Bobigny, Seine-Saint-Denis, the mythical "9-3". This is where Julia invited me to go play the reporter, after considering the damn ring road as a single access road. Before we begin, I mingled with apprehension and curiosity. On the other side of the crown, a world virtually unknown until then mainly relayed by a few cliches and remote unreality. My first question, which was meant funny, but marked a certain idea of the suburbs, was whether, in addition to the devices, we were provided bodyguards. Usually, for me, the suburbs, is the cross without looking, without stopping. Bobigny, Aubervilliers and Saint-Denis, I go without worry, and repaired as soon as I finished. The eyepiece of a camera housing means having a look and observe, to seek, to be alert to people and events. Send to captivate interest, identify the attractiveness and beauty of Bobigny too often poorly described by the gray and gloom.

Soon, I felt lost, lost in a suburb I felt deserted in the middle of July. Then after a few hours, a few days I started to spot, identify. Finally, I found myself coming away with an impression of light and space. Bobigny had instilled a sense of air, facing a narrow Paris, perhaps more enclosed, surrounded by that damned device. I strolled along the canal, where I imagined myself hard to find a few hundred meters from the gates of Paris. The weather station between Picasso and Raymond Queneau, the subway became a real campaign train, and between green channel.
I loved to walk among the graves of pitching Muslim cemetery, grab a few laughs of children on holiday in the tram, explore the neighborhood patchwork of Madness, or that of the "Stone Bridge, near the tracks in service or abandoned where I am amused to venture. I think it's my favorite place to photograph. Let us not forget Avicenne Hospital or the site of the illustration (since invested by the University Paris 13) , emblematic of the city of Bobigny.
Also, the picturesque "little suburban houses" and allotments.
A strength to walk, to wander, observe, to photograph, I began to understand that this is how urban legends are born with the fear of what is unknown and prejudices sclerotic curiosity. And finally, the suburbs, I think now that I do not know quite what it is. Certainly it is not really in Paris or already in the provinces, but is somewhere in an identifiable space, but not identified, and where it is possible, despite the conventional wisdom, to feel pleasure, desire and especially the desire to return.

Contact with these few images, but also those of other participants in various cities, barriers were slaughtered, fields of vision and creativity have been open meetings were made. I felt an exhausting but exhilarating feeling of instability, coupled with the pleasant surprise to work within a collective. A new experience, unbelievable and unforgettable, during which I learned a bit more to share, let go and allow light penetration.

How To Recover The Combination Of A Brinks Lock

Ludovic Saint-Denis seen by Samuel

Samuel, Paris 18th

I know little suburb. During my college years, every morning I crossed the 93 cities and 95 by the RER D, but the reality of these cities me totally unknown. This stay in Saint-Denis has allowed me to discover more about this life that seems at once so close and so distant from the Parisian life.

The photographs were taken near the Basilica of Saint-Denis. They are the result of walking around the cathedral the kings of France, the covered market, Boulevard Carnot, boulevard Félix Faure and place of Caqueta.
life behind the neighborhood of the Basilica is not so far away from the life that animates the popular neighborhood of Barbes, where I live. Cafe terraces are full when the sun comes out, improvised flea markets, many residents find themselves on the cathedral square where young people listen to music while doing dance steps hip-hop.

At Saint-Denis, I Djalo cross, a militant for the cause of undocumented migrants. I met him during a march of illegal immigrants around the town hall, a man smiling and open despite its precarious situation. At the exit of a shop-drawing picture, I made the acquaintance of Prosper, a former Indian military who told me about his military past with nostalgia and posed for photographs of me with his regiment.
The landscape of Saint-Denis is very rich with its impressive basilica and bright, its long pedestrian street, its buildings on the terrace, tram. The experience as a journey of initiation, transforms our vision. No more shots ... Through the viewfinder of the camera, the city appears to us as it is really beautiful or not, it is there and is to be seen.
Among the pictures I took, three of them are my favorites for very different reasons: First, there is a photo of Saint-Denis where it is found in the same panorama, the Basilica and Stade de France. By taking this photo, I realized that it conveyed the symbolic impact. The entire history of Saint-Denis which is revealed: the basilica reminds us of the past prestigious of the city while the Stade de France says its modernity.
Then there's the photo of the mailbox, taken at the entrance to a stairwell of a building under renovation. This photo shows one of the recurring problems encountered in the Paris region, the undocumented and expulsions. It is a human eye on this situation.
For humor, I like the picture of this man who seems to fly something before the facade of the basilica. But that leaking? Religion? the suburbs? Maybe it is just late ...
